The company was founded by Masae Brittman, who was born in Japan and is now based in Los Angeles. Alongside her is Tomoko Ishibashi, an Executive Travel Advisor, also born in Japan and based in Los Angeles. With a deep understanding of Japanese culture and an ability to navigate international needs, these two passionate individuals are uniquely positioned to offer exclusive, tailored journeys for their esteemed clients.

Masae’s inspiration for founding Zen-ith Japan stems from her years of delivering refined hospitality to affluent individuals around the world, including at a private membership club in Los Angeles. Living abroad has deepened her appreciation for her homeland, especially the beauty and authenticity of rural Japan—where timeless traditions and breathtaking nature still thrive.

Recognizing that most visitors tend to focus on Japan’s metropolitan areas, Masae felt compelled to reveal the lesser-known regions that embody the country’s true spirit. As a native Japanese, she sees it as her mission to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, allowing global travelers to experience the genuine heart of Japan in a seamless, comfortable, and unforgettable way.

Born and raised in Japan, Masae is currently based in Los Angeles and has provided hospitality services to a distinguished global clientele—from Hollywood celebrities and international executives to senior U.S. government officials. She began her career in the airline industry in Tokyo and Hong Kong, and later refined her expertise at prestigious private membership clubs in Tokyo and Los Angeles.

Leveraging this extensive experience, Masae is dedicated to crafting seamless and sophisticated travel experiences that allow guests to immerse themselves in the essence of Japan’s culture, cuisine, and hospitality.

Additionally, she maintains a strong interest in outer space exploration and contributes insights to the rapidly evolving space tourism industry.

In addition to her professional achievements, Tomoko has been teaching the traditional arts of kimono dressing as well as practicing tea ceremony for many years. Her passion for these cultural practices enriches the experiences she creates, offering guests a deeper understanding of Japan’s timeless traditions.
